Lookonchain: A blockchain analytics firm identified an ETH wallet address that bought ETH in the bear market and sold it in the bull market.
According to Lookonchain, this whale bought 96,639 ETH from Coinbase at $1,567 on SEP 3, SEP 4, 2022.
The investor recently moved 70,000 ETH to the crypto exchange Kraken through multiple transactions. During the time of transfer, the market price of ether was $3,062.
The investor holds the remaining 26,639 ETH in their wallet from the original purchase.
Leveraging Yeild protocol, Shezmu found out on September 21 that they had been hacked. They were alerted by blockchain analytics firm Fuzzland against a compromised storage vault belonging to Shezmu.
It is uncertain if this event was a hack or a rug pull, but it has been confirmed that $4.9 million in funds have been stolen in the process.
Later, Shezmu offered a white hat** bounty of 10%** to the hacker and returned the remaining funds in exchange for no legal repercussions.
The hacker demanded a 20% white hat bounty instead of the initial 10%, and Shezmu agreed.
Shezmu started receiving funds in their wallet within 24 hours.
