Introduction

Hello everyone! Excited to sign up on Leo Finance to share and learn from others. I'm glad to be part of the community, finance and money is an important aspect of life still many are ignorant and its not discussed much openly. I've decided to share my knowledge through blogs, hope it might help someone someday avoid making financial mistakes.

Who am I?

I've been involved with blockchain since 2017, though Leo is new for me but I've been tracking Steem and Hive for quiet sometime. Bitcoin and ETH are still my favorites. Not a fan of altcoins but I have some of the prominent ones like XRP, LTC, ADA, XLM, STEEM, HIVE etc! I have good understanding in equities especially Indian equities. Yes, I'm from India!

I'll share important tips on generating wealth and attain Financial Independence Retire Early(FIRE) in life.

What is FIRE?

Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) is a concept coined in 1992 best-selling book Your Money or Your Life by Vicki Robin and Joe Dominguez. It aims to allow people to attain financial independence through initial years of savings and investments, then retire early in life. Much faster than the traditional retirement plans. You can achieve FIRE in yours 40s and 30s too.

This is not just applicable to USA or India, anyone in the world can attain financial independence in much earlier age.

Retirement doesn't mean you can sit idle at home and do nothing! No. It means you get freedom to do what you love than burdened about financial commitments. The greatest thing you would possess would be 'time', make use of it as you wish.

What I would write about?

Crypto and equities are great way to build wealth but some people do not realize basic fundamental concepts of money management and personal finance. Staying wealthy is more important than becoming wealthy. If you don't understand personal finance, it won't take long to loose your money in crypto and stocks.

In this blog I'll share about,

  • Personal Finance
  • Money management
  • Savings and Investments
  • Build wealth through Cyptocurrency
  • Stock Market
  • Macro economics
  • Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE)

Hive Power Up Month - Feedback from Day 12

Hello @finfire! This is @traciyork from the @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) curation team. We noticed you shared your first post here on Hive and introduced yourself to the community - congratulations and welcome!

Speaking of community, we have many different ones here on the blockchain, devoted to all kinds of interests. Here's a link so you can check them all out - Hive Communities. I see you've already found the LeoFinance community (and front end) and that sounds like the perfect jumping off point for you. :)

Also, as Hive can sometimes be quite confusing, the newly launched Newbies Guide is a growing repository of useful and easy to understand posts about how the Hive ecosystem works.

Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). For more information, check this post - Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise by hivewatchers.

In addition, since you're new, you may run into an RC (Resource Credits) error when trying to comment/post because you don't yet have enough Hive in your account yet. For assistance with a temporary delegation to get you started, be sure to check out the Gift Giver site.

If you have questions, feel free to hop into the OCD Discord server and we'll do our best to answer them, and again welcome to Hive!

Thank you, that's a ton of information. Thanks for sharing it, it is definitely useful for newbies like me. It would sometime to explore all of what Hive provides. Keep supporting me to grow on Hive.
