This is an underrated tip for SEO since we're usually focused on actual posts. That won't stop, but let's also use comments to backlink to older content.

I do that whenever I get the chance. Having more conversations going under the main post will increase the visit duration on the website. This can improve ranking!!

Yes, Google ranks those articles higher that have better engagement. Even if sometimes the original article is shitty.

Right. I would see the titles of the articles written already and take ideas from there so that I can somehow backlink those later.
