The school didn't teach us about money so I will.

Check out my latest blog in the following thread. 👇👇

Hive is my school now.
It's where i learn real finances.

Same here ser. So much to learn from fellow lions.

I can actually call myself a finance guru by now. xD

SEO lion next.
:D

Sure. xD

No one enjoys paying taxes, at least I don't. But they're a fact of life.

That's bcoz tax regime in itself is complex & coercive, that's why it does not enjoy willing obedience. Mostly we hav copy pasted taxation system after independence

They didn't change it to help the citizens. They kept it as it is to help themselves.

My school didnt teach nearly anything about money or economics

Same bro. I just went there to get good marks. That's it. xD

Yeah we did a lot of math but virtually none of it had to do with IRL finance.

I had to go to grad school (and pay for it) to get exposed to formal financial education heh.

Big niche for LeoFinance to help fill!

I should have learnt about money in my high school so learn about it's importance - like the power of compound interest and how to save and grow your money well over time.

Same here bro. It's never too late to learn something new.

That's one blunder about school. Even in this technology era the school teaching system has not changed a bit

And it might remain the same for a long time.

well, my school did actually thought us about money and how to develop our entrepreneur skills too

That's great to hear bro. Glad that you could enjoy that knowledge in the school itself. Make good use of it ser.

i am glad too but I am not an entrepreneur kind of guy yet but someday, I will be.

Schools didn't teach me shit. Real-world hardships did.

Real enterprising skills emanate from real hardships and jerks of the real world, where you truly struggle. The four-walled classrooms only produce "Unit of Labor".

your teacher briefly mentioned compound interest, and you thought, "When will I ever use this

My life started compounding with a downward spiral when I started paying off a loan and I had to pay compound interest to the lender.

That day I was practically demonstrated into the compound interest.

😭 Tough lessons bro!

Good lesson in hindsight. But that's what the life of a lower-middle-class family is.

You can only get to understand better when you get to the outside world, school will never tell you everything, I learnt that during job interview
