Few days ago I attended Story Meetup in Kyiv, Ukraine.
It was Sunday, 9 February 2025. Usually on Sundays center of Kyiv is empty. But in empty business center near the Golden Gates a lot of people came for this meetup.
What was the most surprising for me is that I saw not a single familiar face. Yes, not a single face I've seen on meetups before.
In a way, that's positive, it shows that people interested in crypto now are almost completely new. And cryptocurrency industry is very popular in Ukraine. Previous generation of crypto-communities either earned good amount of money and continue their work on another level. Or they for any reason left this industry, as winner or looser, it depends.. but now almost all these people are relatively new, and the majority was young people.
