Gmfrens, Its been a hectic morning already. I went shopping for electrical cables to connect my power to the new prepaid digital meter for power consumption. They are installing the new units on every building in my area. This is nice as we will be using recharge units for power billing instead of estimated bills. You can see the recharge machine and user card above.
The shop where i bought the electric cables have some fine lights. I loved this particular lighting on display which i captured and shared here.
I hope to do other things planned for the day although its almost midday. How are you doing frens? This is #mydiary
The problem with electricity in Nigeria is not much about the method of billing, whatever method of billing that guarantee steady light is what I want. Unfortunately, that's is something that can never happen.
Thats really pathetic. I just hope the digital meter should make light more steady - although i doubt. I was already using it before the company decided to install.this new one on every building. I wonder why there should not be steady power when the customer is ready to pay.
That's is the system we have found ourselves. The infrastructure are not well maintained due to corruption in the system. A steady electricity cannot be attainable in the country with such system in place.
Obviously. And this high cost of petrol makes generator an expensive alternative. I will be planning for solar sometime this year
Let us not talk about petrol and the use of generator, the cost of petrol has made me abandoned my generator for a long time now.
Its really on the high side. The cost of living or doing business here has hit the roof!!!!
You have just gained deliverance from NEPA's estimated billing.I saved almost 400k in my first year of using prepaid meter. You will need to change your appliances to the energy saving ones.I organize deliverance service if you don't mind.
I think the prepaid meter is a way to go.
Its not ooo for people like you that use iron. Iron, borehole and other energy consuming installations cant pay the price.
my friends told me it's a better alternative. At least you don't pay for light you didn't use.
Yes in terms of paying for energy, its a great because you wont pay for what you didnt use. But my point is for heavy appliance users, the estimated is perfect because you pay less compared to the energy consumed.
Prepaid meter or estimated meters, the question is,, will there be constant power supply???
Prepaid meter is the best method of having power in your area, if only they can extend it to all parts of this city, i would love it, darkness
we are good, and you , congratulations on getting a prepaid,I heard it's more affordable, how's that
Enjoy your prepaid bills.I totally agree with @fexonice but I just want to add that prepared meters eliminates the problem of paying for for darkness through pre paid bills.
