in LeoFinancelast year

Visiting the petrol station is everyday thing for me because power supply is unsteady. 1 liter of petrol is NGN 620. Thats almost 3 hive. Whats the cost of petrol in your city? #mydiary #gmfrens.

Sort:

I live in Italy and the price per liter of gasoline today is 1.939 euros while diesel is priced at 1.85 euros.
If prices continue to be this high I will opt for something electric...or I will adjust and use my bicycle...

Thats terribly on the high side. Amazing. Inflation is eating us alive.

IN NY $3.69 US per gallon I think thats 12.3 HIVE

How many liters fill a gallon. Not sure if gallon and liter are same capacity.

3 or 4

I get it. A bit higher than 3 Hive per liter.

Very close to me in NY, We are lucky I guess . It goes as high as 8$ in some place in EU

A liter of petrol here is around 4 Hive

Are you serious. Its a bit higher than mine. Though us here, the government recently removed fuel subsidy. Before now, it was less than 2 hive

But that's relative... I think it's better to measure the price by how many working hours you spend to buy a liter of petrol

Does it take much time to get the fuel over there? Here is never an issue.

I bought for N620 this morning too. God Will help us

It has just made life more difficult. I fuel my gen at home and at the office - a budget of NGN12,000 minimum.

Mehn, it's just God that will help up in this country.

These was something we used to by 5k before

Its really a difficult situation. Cost of living climbing up straight

Good day, in my country 25 pesos, that would be like 0.10 cents of #Hive at the current price in the informal market, but it is a price subsidized by the state and does not reflect the real costs.

Same here (Nigeria) until recently. The new government removed fuel subsidy which has been around for decades. A liter use to be sold for less than 1 hive. But now, no fuel subsidy.

This is sad news, especially given the complexity of the cost of living.

They promised to invest the funds in other sectors of the economy like education and helth. But if you know how political promises work, they never did.

$1 USD per liter

Are you for real? Thats almost 3x my price.

I should move. Yeah gas and dairy products are crazy expensive here.

Oh dear. The government here removed fuel subsidy this year, which has been around for close to 2 decades now. When we had the subsidy, petrol was sold for around 1 hive (current hive value).

Think the gas is high? A gallon of milk cost $6.97

Whopping!! Could it be because they are imported goods?

If it's imported that's even worse.. I've driven past the Hatillo diary farm many times.. I'm sure it's not the only one on the island.
