I never really wanted to attend a Polytechnic. So after leaving secondary school in 2005, I continued to take Jamb, pass it and fail Aptitude test for 4 years. Eventually, I got fed up and picked Abia Poly form in 2009. 4 wasted Jamb years

Really?? Thank God that you finally made it in University levels. But I will 🤺🤺🤺🤺 for failing Aptitude test for 4 good years
I didnt fail. They sold my results because each time, it was excellent. I was reliably told thats what happens. I wanted to study Electrical Engineering. But am happy it never worked. I studied computer science in the Polytechnic
Oh ok!!! Good to know. I was surprised because I know you Sabi book well well
Wowwwww, first time hearing this.
Yes. No body in the family knew. Hahahaha. Keep it to myself. Suffered alone
But here you are doing well, so what advice do you have for us
My advice right now is: Dont even go to school. Pick up IT skills and be a professional in them. You will do far more in 4 years than wasting them in this terrible school system.
Same advice one of the teachers gave i and my classmates during our high school graduation. She said "Schooling especially in Nigeria is a waste of human resources, pick up a skill, and be perfect. in the next 5 years you'll be glad you did"
Thats it. Thats why I am trying to give you all the tools and support you need in this IT and crypto world. Its one of the best career paths
Thank you popsy!
do you regret going to the polytechnic?
Wow its really a struggle
I was actually younger and then, university was considered superior to polytechnic. So I wasted years trying to get admission for Electrical Engineering
So what did you study in abia poly
Computer Science.
Wow I Neva knew abia poly does that course
Yes, they do a lot of courses now more than in 2014 when I graduated
Buh they don't do health related courses I would have gone there too
I graduated in 2014. Did NYSC in 2015 and returned in 2016.
Wow 5 years course?
4 years course. You must do a compulsory 1 year IT after your second year
Hmm this is impressive
It was a tough course then now. University is always superior to poly I prefer it to
Hahaha. The course I studied is best done in a Polytechnic. Because its practicals. University dont have time for that. I wont suggest to someone to go and study Computer science in University
Really?
Because of the practicals?
Technic means a school where more of practicals are done. If you are doing a practical oriented course, do it in polytechnic. After graduation, u can do a 1 year course and still obtain BSc that they give university people
Wow cool
So now, does it mean polytechnic didn't give you the exact knowledge you dreamed of?
It did more than expected. If I have another opportunity, na Polytechnic I dey go
Wow. So, if you're opportune to train someone in high school, which would you prefer? University or poly?
Ohhhhh, I'm sorry about that but you're good now not as a result of the education you've attained
