You've gotta be the one who's actively searching and messaging potential clients.
Starting on Upwork is good because you're messaging warm leads which often want to renew, but cold emailing/DMing on socials is a numbers game that you can play to cut out the middle man entirely.
From there you can take control of how you're paid entirely.

If you're looking for a writer who charges an affordable rate he's your man.
Take's the time in his review process that 99% of others in a similar spot won't take.
