It doesn't cost anything, but knowing upvotes are involved incentivizes participation. We need to come up with Threads specific daily themes that run every week. We can add some contests and challenges in randomly during the week
The format could be that the Mother Thread contains an original image and a title, Then they need to reply to that thread with a description of the image. This way if big votes are flowing the threads are worthy. Or...
Make the threads worthy so some bigger stakes see the value in upvoting them with nice votes. We could also run a 7 day challenge where threaders would need to post each day to complete the challenge, themed of course.
Another thing we need to do is rally the communities to do the same thing with the topic of their own community. The format I mentioned would be the minimum, but if bigger votes or prizes come in, we could require threadstorms
I just want to see better content being consistently produced by everyone. I don't really care about making money really. It's cool and all, but I'll just let it come naturally, otherwise it feels like work to me. Work bad!
First, I'm honored you think I am capable of some good ideas, but other than selling merch or building a game, I'm not sure what this crowd will pay for.
That might work, especially if you change the 'we' to 'me', meaning you, lol. That certainly sounds like work. Teaching materials, proof reading, more teaching... That's a NO WAY for me
I do, but it needs backing
Well something else then.
Something that only costs time.

We could also drop in some random contests whenever or maybe... Getting something started will inspire others

I'm thinking something where we literally charge money.
We have a pool of 1000 MAUs who all are interested in making money online.
What can we offer that they would buy for 10 HIVE?
Lol, um is that even on topic?
You looking at how to use the Subscription model wen it comes out? In like 6 months, lol
Until Khal actually shows ad revenue and uses it to back the $LEO token, there is zero incentive to work for the greater good.
We don't need leofinance to "let us" accept money for a product/service.
Help me brainstorm!

Work bad... But setting up income streams where I get to work less and buy more fun shit good!
But just say you were more selfish than you are.
What product/service would you sell to an audience of 1000 active users here on Threads?
What problem do they all need solving?

What about a 'how to make money writing online' ebook/course/group.
Costs 10 HIVE per month to get and then be in.
Inside the group, we help them earn at least 100 HIVE writing online or money back (via Fiverr/Upwork/our contacts)
That might work, especially if you change the 'we' to 'me', meaning you, lol. That certainly sounds like work. Teaching materials, proof reading, more teaching... That's a NO WAY for me
You could start up the contest I mentioned, get delegations rolling in and upvote yourself with it
I don't want anything to do with upvotes.
Upvotes are a cancer that breeds mediocrity.
