No, Shiba Inu coin will not reach $1 because it is a scammy shitcoin that is headed to zero.
You’re seriously asking, will Shiba Inu coin reach $1?
Where do we even begin with this one...
I guess we should start with the current SHIB price sitting at $0.00000673.
Can you even express a number that low in words?
Honestly though, I can’t.
So if you know, please help me out by leaving it in the comments.
Could Shiba Inu reach $1?
The market capitalisation (or market cap) of a cryptocurrency is calculated by multiplying its current price by its total circulating supply.
In the case of SHIB, which currently has a circulating supply of around 589,359,362,358,402 coins and a price of around $0.00001138, the market cap is around $6.7 billion.
For SHIB to reach $1, its market cap would have to increase to around $589.4 trillion, which is more than 87,000 times its current market cap.
While this may sound like a possibility given the recent surge in interest and popularity of meme-inspired cryptocurrencies like SHIB, it's important to note that such a massive increase in market cap is practically impossible.
Remember, it was just a few months ago we had Shiba Inu coin dropping HARD.
To put this into perspective, as of writing this post, the current total market cap of ALL cryptocurrencies combined is around $1.25 trillion.
LOL.
Furthermore, the current market cap of SHIB is already significantly higher than what many consider to be its fair value.
Unlike other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, which have a finite supply, SHIB has no limit to the number of coins that can be produced, making it susceptible to inflation and devaluation.
What would it take for Shiba Inu coin to reach $1?
If you’re still convinced that buying meme coins is your ticket to crypto riches, let’s just stop and do the math required for Shiba Inu coin to reach $1.
The sheer magnitude of the increase in market cap required for such a feat is simply too large to be realistically achievable.
To reach $1, SHIB would need to increase by approximately 87,987,936% from its current price of $0.00001138.
This can be calculated as follows: ($1 - $0.00001138) / $0.00001138 x 100% = 87,987,936%
So, yeah… SHIB would need to rally by around 87,987,936% in order to reach $1.
Shiba Inu coin won’t be reaching $1
The bottom line is that Shiba Inu coin is a scam that you should be avoiding like the plague.
If buying SHIB was your introduction to crypto then don’t beat yourself up too much.
Not all is wasted.
You may have lost some money on your first investment, but Shiba Inu has become your gateway into the world of cryptocurrencies.
A world full of exciting, decentralised projects that not only have the potential to make you rich, but also to change the world.
Shiba Inu coin won’t be reaching $1.
But now you’re here, you have a world of viable investment possibilities at your fingertips.
Best of probabilities to you.

A second possibility of reaching one dollar is if 60% of the circulating supply is burned, which would increase the value but would still be a long way short of $1.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
To keep burning SHIB in this manner, the 'team', (a single centralised entity), has to have access to huge chunks of supply.
To me, this is not a good thing.

Well I wouldn't say its impossible but highly unlikely. I guess if someone like Elon pumps, it may affect prices enough to get to $1 for a few minutes before people dump.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Did you happen to see Elon Musk's new puppy?
Floki, the Shiba Inu :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah I haven't seen it but will Elon go out of the way to pump SHIBA when he prefers DOGE? I don't think so.

Shiba Inu trend is moving, but I don't know if it will get to 1 dollar. But it may get but it depends.
Nice information

What a rollercoaster of a sentence that was, William!
Shiba Inu coin will not reach $1.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't think it will reach it

I agree man, little scammy, trying to ride coat tails of doge hype. At $1 thats a monster market cap. Maybe possible 1 day, if they cap that nearly infinite supply.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm just really not a fan of these doge-themed meme coins...
Hopefully at least 1 crypto n00b reads this blog and decide to divert their attention (and money...) toward less scammy projects.

I can't really say it is a scam but if a well to being personality pump the coin am very sure it will move faster up to 1dollar
You mean a well to being personality such as Elon Musk?
Did you happen to see his new puppy?
But nope, not even Floki the Shiba Inu is going to get Shiba Inu coin to $1.

I will check that throug
Shiba Inu may never reach a dollar
but it will bring many to see
what crypto envisions to the world.
Unfortunately this is the case.
Glad you exemplify the reasons.
Meme coin or not the probability is really
out of this world.
I wish everyone sees things in crypto
this way before putting money they cannot afford
to lose.

I'm wishing for the same thing :)
If even just the 1 crypto n00b reads this blog and diverts their attention (and money...) toward less scammy projects, then it will have been a success.

Great article - I appreciate the clear, no BS arguments against this strange coin that for some reason has been dominating my news feed. Admittedly I once considered investing in Shiba Ina coin just for fun, but when I saw that the price was something like $0.00000673, I decided that I didn’t need the headache of dealing with math at that ridiculous scale :p.
Haha, I can certainly empathise with the math.
No thanks!
By the way, I'm intrigued by your account.
I see you've been on STEEM and HIVE for years, but just been using the accounts on and off?
What's your story? :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Haha yes I've been a crypto fanatic for several years, and during that time I tried out all kinds of crypto projects. Steemit stood out to me as a particularly brilliant idea - why not get rewarded for participating in social media, something that we already spend hours doing every day for free?
I took a break from it however because I got busy with life (getting married, having kids) and while Steemit was fun, I just didn't have time to spend on it. Over the years, even as I gradually found more time to get involved in new crypto projects, I kind of forgot about Steemit completely, to be honest.
A few months ago I randomly remembered that I had a Steemit account with a bunch of Steem Power that I hadn't touched in years! Little did I know about the whole Justin Sun drama, but once I figured out what happened I started using Hive, and now, engaging with Hive is on my list of daily habits.
Ha Ha Ha
I understand your distain for doggie coins and the carnage of many doggie coin affictunados liters the landscape…but they are young, they will recover, and hopefully be be wiser.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh, you can tell that I'm not a fan? ;)
But yeah, at least doggie coins like Shiba Inu will act as a gateway for normies into crypto.
Once they're here, then it's easier to find projects that actually do something.

Hi @forexbrokr
I agree!
The coins are cute, but possibly worthless in a few weeks or months, but they serve the main purpose of getting people interested in crypto and hopefully they find places like Hive and Leofinance where they can learn more about cryptocurrency.
