I can see how, multiple OSes is more difficult to bypass for a potential hacker... right? 😆
Perhaps, but in my view, the biggest reason for "multiple vendors/techs" is its useful natural deterrent for zero-day attacks (in all devices at the same time), where targeting every single option, is sometimes impossible due to how diversity works in terms of standards for hardware/software.
