Created a new account for curation purposes and I'm unable to vote or comment at all. Also can't join a community. It's basically functioning like a view-only account. Think anyone can help?

Do you have the proper keys loaded on keychain or whatever you are using to login?
Yes, I actually figured out the issue with some help from a kind user on Discord. That was very tricky, tbh. Something like this would dissuade the general populace from using the platform very quickly.
Attempts to change my profile (i.e. upload profile image, write display name, description, etc.) all result in this message.
Note: this is all via Ecency.
How long have you waited? I think I remember having to wait up to a couple hours before.
It was a matter of keys, etc. Working now!
