I often preach kindness and happiness, but there's something even more important that I should probably focus on:
Self-improvement.
None of us is perfect. There's always something we can improve about ourselves. It takes humility and inner drive to find out what this is and then to fix it. It's not easy, and can be painful, but if you can work to better yourself as much as possible, then you're doing just about the best that any human being can be expected to do.
The easiest way I have found to find out things I need to work on is to ask the 2-3 people who are closest to you. They often see our weak spots better than we do. And if you trust them its okay to hear it from them since they usualy are those that care too. Thanks for sharing this thought. !PIZZA
That's a very sensible approach! It's important to ensure that these people actually care for your well-being. We're very fortunate if we have a few such people around in our lives.
