I do not have her skiplisted, but if she only Threads the voter will not vote (since that is seen as a comment).

Maybe the earnings from HSBI and leo.voter would potentially compensate for any nonsense from HW?

The problem is that, as per its function, it's only used for voting on posts, not on comments (of which Threads are a part). So if you never create posts, you might not be able to reap any benefits of HSBI. It's not actually a token, but rather a voting service.
