Being Future Proof 🔮
When we think of what is takes to be future proof, it requires an understanding and knowing that in the future we are interdependent, commonly structured, commonly empowered, and commonly informed. In the future we are uniquely challenged to depend upon one another for skills, resources, data, and support.
We are transitioning into an attention economy where engagement and support are a currency, so the most readily available way to prosper will be by getting engagement from your network/community.
We hold these truths to be self evident that in the future, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness will be captured on an immutable ledger and contiguous with your personal and collective networks. Meaning your net worth is truly your network, in the most literal sense. Future Proof Org (FPO) is a network of collaborators who share skills, talents, time, and attention to enrich one another thus strengthening the net effect of the collective.
The question becomes "What is the net effect of a fully functioning and highly skilled web3 community?" The answers are varied but we will imagine a few right away.
A fully functioning web3 community is informed, their data is protected and privately monetized, their decisions are transparent and available for the whole community to understand.
This community has collective capital to solve collective problems as a unit, they all have basic needs in house for the development and growth of their ideas, and their initiatives.
They have what we like to call "community liquidity", which is generated by a perpetual exchange of social currency. Community liquidity isn't about fans & followers, its about your tribe. Relationships and collaborations that are built from within, can then laser-focus that liquidity when necessary to push community initiatives outward. This is why we love HIVE, LeoFinance, and 3Speak...here active community is the actual blood flow of the network.
They are both financially and socially invested in building and furthering infrastructure, whether internally or externally.
This community has internal volume from their tokens/NFTs, internal capture for their content, and some internal revenue from their own exchange. Their capital circulates internally and a portion of their spend never, ever leaves the community.
