My Hive Goals (Week 3, 2025)

This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD

This is a goal inherited from last year, but mostly intended for this year.

Nothing changed since last week. I used ALL my HBD author rewards to buy more HIVE, again.

Looks like the last pump completed a 100% dump as well, but it took much longer than many of us expected, probably. I wonder if what we read (and I wrote about) in enough crypto news outlets regarding Upbit (especially the potential fines) were exaggerations to help people who are in the position to make the Hive price move significantly on exchanges reach their desired outcome easier, without selling too much Hive to bring the price back to the starting point.

I guess I'm ok with that. HIVE went up too sharply, and risked burning its bull market potential too soon, even when considering a significant correction after a while. But I'd like to see it back above 50c soon.

Current situation:

Social Goals

Here are my social goals in 2025:

  • posting: at least 350 posts (max 1 per day) in 2025
  • commenting: an average of 81.25 comments per week (11.6 per day); this is at the beginning of the year, the average needed will change throughout the year;
  • publishing Week through Adrian's Lenses every week of 2025 (hopefully, maybe I can have 1 exception, under special circumstances)

Here's the current situation:

I have posted every day since the beginning of this year.

I also started the week with 21,519 comments made. Ended the week with 21613 which means I made 94 comments last week, which is better than the average needed. Note that I had a great start on this last year too, and ended up not completing 100% of the comments made goal. I currently need an average of 81 comments weekly to reach my target by the year end.

I published "Week through Adrian's Lenses" news roundup every week this year. Now at the 106th edition.

Golem Overlord - Prestige 30

Started with prestige 20 (and XP 10,544) in week 2.

Here's the current situation:

XP to Prestige 21: 42,913. When upgrading to next prestige level, 75% of my XP will be cut, and I'll start over the climb from there.

Started the week 10,544 XP, ended it with 19,339 XP. That's 8,785 XP gained last week. Still need 23,574 XP to Prestige 21. That's 19 and a half days, if nothing changes in my pace of converting reputation to XP. I analyzed my options here.

This may be a too tougher goal for 2025, but we'll see. Worse case scenario, I'll extend it in 2026. But I'd like to see it completed in 2025. Let's see what I can do about it.

ZING Accumulation Target: 200k

Slow and steady. Everything fine for now.

Here's the current situation:

Started the week with 71,369 and finished it with 71,369. Made 2,852 this week, and I need an average of 2,567 ZING weekly to achieve this goal. So far this seems reachable, but we'll see how it evolves.

Thanks! Still early and a long road to go. But all things ok so far.

I think I use to average 20 comments per day. Although I upped it at the beginning of the year. It has dropped now, but i have no idea where it is at the moment since I've been indisposed.

That's a very good rate, especially if you keep it sustained on the long term.

It looks like great progress on all of your goals. I am not surprised to see the dump. It's just a correction and we are still above where we were a few weeks ago.

I'm surprised it took so long to have a 100% round trip. It usually happens much sooner. But I guess this time there was a strong counter-movement that wanted HIVE to keep going up sharply and make a lot of profit on the short term.

5000 is a big amount but we hope that if you work hard enough on this platform for a long time then you will definitely achieve all your goals.

It is much smaller than I've seen others set as their goals. I might update mine too later this year.

I want to work on making more comments everyday and being more active than before
I wish to achieve my yearly goals on here

What yearly goals do you have on Hive?
