This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD
This is a goal inherited from last year, but mostly intended for this year.
I purchased HIVE with all my HBD author rewards this week. Unfortunately, I did it yesterday, and missed today's market drop. So nothing more goes to the HBD in savings from HBD author rewards this week.
But I received the interest on that account (8.069 HBD) which got added to savings.
Current situation:
Social Goals
Here are my social goals in 2025:
- posting: at least 350 posts (max 1 per day) in 2025
- commenting: an average of 81.25 comments per week (11.6 per day); this is at the beginning of the year, the average needed will change throughout the year;
- publishing Week through Adrian's Lenses every week of 2025 (hopefully, maybe I can have 1 exception, under special circumstances)
Here's the current situation:
I have posted every day since the beginning of this year. Currently at 9.97% with 9.62% needed to be in the green.
I also started the week with 21,698 comments made. Ended the week with 21782 which means I made 84 comments last week, which is a little better than the average needed. Note that I had a great start on this last year too, and ended up not completing 100% of the comments made goal. I currently need an average of 81 comments weekly to reach my target by the year end.
I published "Week through Adrian's Lenses" news roundup every week this year. Now at the 108th edition.
Golem Overlord - Prestige 30
Started with prestige 20 (and XP 10,544) in week 2.
Here's the current situation:
Current Prestige level: 20
Needed XP to level up to Prestige 21: 42,913
Remaining XP to Prestige 21: 4,955
Days to Prestige 21: ~4
When upgrading to next prestige level, 75% of my XP will be cut, and I'll start over the climb from there.
Started the week 29,124 XP, ended it with 37,958 XP. That's 8,834 XP gained last week (interestingly, exactly 1k more XP than last week, I wonder how!). Still need 4,955 XP to Prestige 21. That's a little over 4 more days, if nothing changes in my pace of converting reputation to XP.
This may be a too tougher goal for 2025, but we'll see. Worse case scenario, I'll extend it in 2026. But I'd like to see it completed in 2025. Let's see what I can do about it.
ZING Accumulation Target: 200k
Slow and steady. Everything fine for now.
Here's the current situation:
Started the week with 77,225 and finished it with 80,308. Made 3,083 this week, and I need an average of 2,547 ZING weekly to achieve this goal. So far this seems reachable, but we'll see how it evolves.

Honestly I was pissed when I saw that the market dipped and I bought before then. I could have easily sold for HBD then covert back to hive, and possibility own more. It's crazy how missing out.

Yeah, I guess we couldn't foresee the bloodbath on Monday morning (and probably Sunday night). In my case, buying at 34c is better than buying at 40c, so I'm good overall. And I bought a little more today at 32c and something.
Looks like the things converge toward a rather slow first half of the year and a potentially exceptional second half. But maybe I'm jumping to conclusions, and it's still early to tell...
It's hard to predict prices, but it looks like Hive is starting to drop back down. I think I will wait to see how far it drops before deciding whether or not to collect more Hive or add my HBD to savings. I am still adding my current HBD to savings though.
Yeah, I see the bleeding on the alts (and BTC, to a lesser degree) hasn't ended. You may have taken a good decision to keep the HBD. It depends how long it takes to start going up again. I was considering that the time is running out and this valley can't last too long or it would be the worst bull market ever. And I don't think so, especially when they say they are a pro-crypto administration in the US. But we will see how all their actions collide with each other.
Maintaining a posting consistency for over a year is not easy. It's neither easy to come up with a topic nor to compose the post. You've done well for yourself by following your goals dedicatedly, and as a consequence your hive portfolio is growing. Thanks for letting us in on your progress so far.
