Thanks for the overview, good to see so much happening on Hive. I didn't check the snaps on peakd yet, but will take a look. Be interesting to see how the subscription function works for inleo. Could be interesting for some users.

I checked it. I guess it's a matter of preference. Ecency users might prefer Waves. But Snap is clean, you can access all 4 options from there (so you can post on Threads, Waves, or Moments from PeakD), but isn't as feature-rich as Threads (can't be for a 1st release), and Inleo has the infrastructure to handle a high-volume of threads in a short time, which I'm not sure the other platforms have or are interested to invest in that.

Yes, it has potential, but I'd like to see if it attracts some new small-to-medium creators interested in writing behind the paywall and (some of) their audiences.

Some interesting developments this week. I think short form could be massive as most people won't write long posts all the time. I've seen some worry that it will be seen as low value and downvoted, but that doesn't seem to happen too much.

I guess it can happen. Here's again where Inleo has an advantage because it has its own token and most votes come from accounts with a significant LEO stake, and not as much HP. If a thread is downvoted for the Hive rewards, its LEO rewards are unaffected.

When rewards come only from the Hive pool, some may disagree with that use of the reward pool and downvote.

Thanks for your comment!

There's only a few people who downvote heavily and they may not be able to cope with a flood of new content. This is one of the reasons Hive needs to scale up.

Yes, but maybe that's why they overreact when they do. They set their eyes on a "target" and "attack".

Yes, but that will take some time.

People say it takes time to grow, but this thing is over 8 years old now. It's good that it has lasted, but it struggles to get attention when people want the 'cool new thing'.

I agree, it doesn't get enough attention when people are looking for 'cool new things', which is most of the time. And that means, it is harder and harder to get discovered in the sea of new shiny tokens.

I am wondering how the Snaps work with threads. I don't think threads show any responses outside of those that came from InLEO. I guess it might be a nice place to view the shortform stuff though.

It doesn't seem to work with Inleo, at least not for top threads, but it might work for replies to threads. They started to show a message for that.

Thanks for the boost!

Hmm I am a little mixed over the Splinterlands challenge this time... Cos it feels like most people will just have the same content because there's not much room for creativity or individual sharing. Of course, there will be some interesting ones, but a large majority will probably be along the lines of repetitive stuff. Which is also a reason why I decided not to participate this round. Haha.

I'm not sure if it will be repetitive because before this challenge I've seen many people with different strategies regarding their Glint Shop purchases. I don't think there is one strategy that fits all accounts.

Hmm maybe I am not thinking hard enough. Hehe!
