It is the goal of everyone to be successful but not all of us will achieve that success because we are all not going to get things right. Not because we do not want to be hard working but because we do not know how to manage our time. We all have equal time, and we all we use it equally.
We have 24 hours every day, and there are 60 minutes in one hour, which means if we are to calculate by minute, then we have 1440 minutes daily. If we are going to be resting for 440 minutes which is too much for some people but at least it is the best that we can give out, it means that we 1000 minutes to ourselves to make things happen.
If you are working for someone, you need to meet up with your goals so you can be able to get good result and you still get paid for the month or the week but If you are an entrepreneur, you need to get out everyday and go for a kill. If you cannot make a kill then you are not going to make anything because you did not manage your time well.
For everyone of us, we are our own time boss. We are responsible for managing our time and if we do not manage it well, then we are just wasting time because it is word and opposite. Spending too much time on things that are not worth it is not a good use of time, for instance why will you spend 2 hours doing lunch when you can spend just 5 to 10 minutes and do other beneficial things with the remaining 110 minute.
Do not be a prisoner to your own time but be able to utilize the time you have. When you are setting time and you are unable to complete a task because the time is short, what you need to do is to weigh what you are doing. If it is worth the time then you can just add up more time to finish it. Leaving a job or task unfinished is not a good use of time but if you realize that what you are doing is a time waster, then you have the responsibility to stop such task and do something better.
Do a time time audit for your time. You cannot just begin to wake up every day and just living your life as it comes because it is not worth it. You are to look into what you are spending time on, and be able to see if they are productive or not. You need to be able to work your time to productivity. If you do not want to be somewhere, then do not be there. If you do not want to be a part of a thing, then do not be. Be able to do a lot of things with people if you need to do them and leave the rest designated if you can.
Be at where you are needed the most, do what you need the most and enjoy the moment you are doing it. Be able to use your time well, be able to structure your goals and make them work well for you. Its no doubt that time flies but if you are able to utilize the time, then you are going to be happy that you utilized them.
