So we are in a new year. Last night we had a lot of fireworks in town, hours of them. I barely slept, and since I slept little I went out early looking for a bite to eat and nothing was open. Seems all the cooks decided to set off fireworks all night and not work today. even the pool hall did not open.
Well I hope this year is better than last year, let's face it, last year sucked big time, probably because it was a leap year. But I do hope we have a better way this year, perhaps Bitcoin reaches a million dollars, who knows. Anyway what I want to do is set my HIVE staked goal for this year in this post.
OK, last year I fell far short of my initial goal, I really overestimated both the votes my posts would get and also I did not post as many articles as at first I thought I would. So what I actually ended up with was just short of 900 staked Hive which is actually not bad, because I happen to have the bad habit of giving up and cashing out all I have staked and then I have to restart from close to zero. at least this year I have a small but solid base to work on. I will be getting small curation rewards from the start.
Now, what should my goal be? Certainly not aim for Dolphin, because that is definitely beyond my capabilities. So I have to figure on a difficult number but one that is achievable. So this year I think I made about 700 HIVE, taking tis into account, and if I manage to interact more with the platform, I think I can manage to stake 1,000 Hive.
So my goal will be to reach 1,800 Hive by year's end. Not that big a goal, but I already am starting to figure out how to reach it. i guess if I don't procrastinate I just might make it.
