How could you have missed it? Pi has been around for about 6 years now. I started mining 5 years ago, even though I didn't really take it seriously until around last year.

I don't think so. Utilities have been created long before the open mainnet. There are over 100 apps on the network that run on Pi, including games, marketplaces, and freelance services.

Yes I been migrated since last year. I have 5291 but 4303 unverifed by my circle. hot 806 locked in and 184 avaible.
