Restraining and training oneself to do what is right might be challenging. Because the right thing and the easy thing to do are seldom the same. This is true with my journey on hive blockchain. I will explain myself. I crave your indulgence.

My Humble Self
I am Nnamdi Gilead Okogbue, but I am known on the internet space as Gilead Chimezie or Glizy. I am in my early 30s. Dark and tall, though slim now but will soon get to my desired stature of being huge like my late mom. I am a native of Amankalu Alayi in Bende LGA of Abia state. I am the penultimate child, in a family of seven children. I am sure i attended nursery school but I can not remember what year I started and which year it ended. Maybe I did not ask my dad. In 1996 I started my primary at Little Friends of Mary Primary School, and my Secondary school at Southland Science school for my Js1-Js3. Then attended Senior Science School Alayi for my Ss1-Ss3. I dreamt of being a Civil Engineer or studying Building Technology but time and chance overtook it in 2004. However determined not to cower, I decided to make the available desirable.
Skills And Jobs
In 2007, I started learning how to build houses and thankfully though not in a conventional way, my dream was realized. I also learnt how to barb and sew unisex polo and men’s wears.
Personality
A writer Gary Chapman in one of his books said that humans have different characteristics that affect their behavior. Some of them he called “the Dead Sea and the Babbling Brook”. He described the dead sea as people who are a large reservoir of information and experiences and they are okay even if they do not talk much, very content not to talk. While the Blabbing brook is whatever comes into the eye gate or ear gate comes out the mouth gate. They have no reservoir, whatever they experience spills over. I came to see myself belonging to that group he described as Dead Sea. Am phlegmatic when it comes to temperament. Would I say I have the best meal on the table? No, just make it nice, you will enjoy how I do justice to it. I like making friends, I mean friends who would shape me in a positive way, who can share business Ideas and what is trending on the internet space just like Herculean. Please if you like to play a fast one on others, please steer clear. I do not like living in others' shadows or trying to place oneself where you are not.
Life has been filled with ups and downs though, whatever the shape of the situation I try to carve out a niche out of it. And that mental attitude has been a driving force for not giving up when the situation seems bleak. The outcome has always been seeing light at the end of the tunnel. There are some of my personality I still need to work on. Am not proud of them. One of them is dealing with unhappy situations without someone else reading it on my face. I also want to learn open up and discuss how I feel when wronged by a person who is close to me.
There are memories I would like to talk about. That was when I served as a religious volunteer. Prior to the experience I have never touched a computer nor have any knowledge about it. I was given a computer to work with and at the same time learn how to type without looking at the keyboard. I cannot forget a software called Mavis Becon. This typing teaching software was very patient with me, it taught me the left and right home keys, how to move my fingers to and fro from the home keys. It gave me tests to write, audio recordings to type and typing games. But it doesn't hide my mistakes. When I get my test correctly, the page colour will be blue but any word I mistyped will be marked red. At the end of the class I was given a certificate. My experience at the volunteer center also taught me how to deal with people of different race, backgrounds, languages and tribes since fellow volunteers were of different nationality and race.
Let me go back to what I said earlier in my prelude. I should have joined Hive blockchain a long time ago. Although there are circumstances that prolonged getting my self onboard, but making out time for the right thing at the right time and placing priorities in the other of their necessities has been a challenge. However I do not want to be stuck in this regrets rather I see it as an avenue to work hard and diligently to get to where I should be. Thanks for stopping by to read through my introductory post.
