An EU based start up has introduced an AI-driven fraud predictor for self-checkout counters.

Holy cow, that is crazy. Crazy stuff happened the last 10 years seeing computers and technology and it's still going on. I'm excited what will be developed in the next ten years.

Well, It actually evokes a bit of technoparanoia in me :)

I understand this. I have mixed feelings about recent tech I saw on youtube. For example robots with AI who can run almost like a human on a parcour setup. That is really scary.

Not as scary as a self-check counter recording and analyzing your moves and behaviour :)

Yes, that's really scary. Imagine you want to fart and the computer scream that you are going to fart. Okay, that would be a funny scenery. 😆

There is a lot that is going to happen in the next 10 years that still stun people.

I'm excited to see what will come and hopefully understand how it works and how to use it. I told my wife that there will be a point in the future of technology where we don't understand how it works. I saw it with elder people who have problems with simple things like phones, computer and receiver for the TV.
