Yup, know the flu day in day out feeling all too well. I also was one who just couldn't "play" like other kids. And knowing that all too well, I am often astounded at all you do. It's so far beyond anything I could do! I also deal with getting poorly starting in August and don't recover until April, as I have atypical SAD. So if the weather is particularly cloudy during the summer, I will start to sink also.
I do hope you can recover from this last bout and enjoy the spring and summer.
Oh my dear friend, when I put the homestead to bed next fall and head to some sun, I'm going to be thinking of you. Heck, I'll probably post a picture of a suitcase and a question mark!😁
You have gone through so much but still keep on going and I admire that so much. Part of the reason I get so down is I'm the most stubborn creature when it comes to engaging in living, I just make myself do things (and pay the increased bodily toll later). That said, it's getting harder and harder on me each passing year and I'm not bouncing back very well, so a change is in order.
Speaking of change, I hope you are getting some sun back your way and the flu feeling is on low volume!

So far so good, re: sun and feeling better. Still bitter cold though…
