Hello great people on hive, I am so delighted to be a part of this great community today.
MY BIO
I am "Miracle", friends and family members call me "Mimie". I would have loved to bear either names as my hive username but they were already taken. I decided to go for @gracedlife. It's not far from my life experience as I am a product of God's grace. Today is not the day for those long stories, I would love to share why my parents named me "Miracle"
I am 19, first child of my parents from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. It's not easy to be the first child especially to young parents like mine. In all, we've grown together and I love the family bond. In the below picture we had a nice time at the stream.
MY HOBBIES
Life could be boring at times and its important to get to do things that make you happy and spice the baby in you. This is what hobbies mean to me. I love cooking, eating, travelling and exploring new things as well as reading.
cooking is one of the things I enjoy doing most whenever I am home,
my mom is a great cook and she took time to teach me how to cook different delicacies, I love native foods. "Ekpang Nkukwu" one of our native delicacies you would love to bite, though it requires a lot of time to prepare it, but trust me it is the best of its kind, very delicious and nutritious that is why it is one of my favorite meals.
I have only traveled to three states within my country yet, but I am sure I will travel more., I have always wished to travel to other countries to learn, explore and to know more about different cultures and languages. Maybe I'll get to know more places yet on Hive and that would inform my next traveling wish.
I love reading as well - stories, novels like "Nightmares in retrospect", inspirational books like " Think Big and Gifted hands" by Dr. Ben Carson , are my favourites. I have been motivated by Gifted hands and this has given me the zeal to push for an career in medical Sciences. I know the medical clothing would fit me well 😀
I dislike Pride and discrimination. I hate it when someone ignores me.
I love being around people who are creative, fun and impactful.
MY EDUCATION AND ASPIRATIONS
I completed my Secondary School Education at Stella Maris Girls' college and I am currently a newbie in the University of Uyo aspiring to become a Medical practitioner.
It has always been my dream to be a medical doctor, major aim of choosing this career is to save lives, I developed passion for it right from when i was younger due to an incident that happened which still remain fresh in my memory. When I was younger, I had an Aunty who was pregnant. There was so much joy shared between our family that we couldn't wait to welcome our little new family member. A few weeks before she was due, a problem arose, and my Aunty had to be rushed to the hospital. There was a complication with her pregnancy, putting her life and her baby's life at risk. The doctors taking care of her made the decision to deliver the baby early, saving my Aunty's life.
Unfortunately, my Aunty and her baby couldn't survive it, they both died in the process 😢 . Losing my Aunty and her baby made me face the realities of losing loved ones at a young age. I was so fascinated and focused on what needed to be done to save them that conducted my own research on the condition. I wanted to know everything about pregnancy and potential complications. This focus developed into a passion, as I wanted to work toward helping other women and their babies.
My aspiration is not only to be a success but of great value to my family and to the world at large.
MY FEARS
My greatest fears are Fear of missing out on my purpose on earth , the fear of dying without impacting and adding value to lives.
MY SKILLS
We learn everyday. I am a lifelong learner and always ready to learn new things. Did a three months ICT training and I'm trying to get better with Microsoft Excel and Graphics design. I made the AI photo of my self below. I hope I did well.
MY HIVE AMBITION
I signed up on Hive earlier this year, precisely January and suddenly lost interest without any explanations. Recently, I have met people that have made me want to get back active here. I think I am ready for a long journey
I really hope this great community will enable me to explore and learn more. I hope I would find friends that we share passion and interests. I wish I can also get to meet great doctors and nurses here too. I am sure you will enjoy my membership in this great community. Thank you Sir @uyobong for the encouragement to get back here. Thank you for being my pastor and life coach. Thanks too for the HP delegation and guidance. I will make you proud! Thank you @Etorobong for always reaching out to ignite the passion to be active here again.
