Back to the Freewriting topic and this time we are going to be exploring as to why it is important to Keep Your Personal LIFE Private. I am sure we all love to express our achievements or anything newly bought, say, like a car, a house, or a vacation with family, by sharing them on social media platforms to showcase our happiness and experiences with the world. But is that really worth becomes a question to be answered. Should we do a REALITY check of expressing our happiness publicly cannot it restricted to our loved ones only? As usual I was browsing through my X feed and found this wonderful image that helps simplifies things and gives us that REALITY check that we need to be aware of and take actions accordingly.
Before we get to the reality check, let's see some examples of why one should avoid bringing their private life into the public eye, as there could be potential risks such as privacy breaches, unwanted judgment, jealousy, misunderstandings, or even misuse of personal information.
- Don't advertise your HAPPY Marriage; avoid relationship issues going public
- Don't advertise your KIDS achievements
- Don't advertise your expensive BUYs; examples luxury CAR, HOUSE; Expensive Purchases & Assets
- Don't advertise your Vacation trips - Travel Plans & Locations
- Don't advertise Gifts and Surprises; Expensive Gifts like Jewelry & Watches etc
And the list just goes on and on and there is no stopping here. But the important point to note is that one should avoid sharing their personal life in public. Let's now take a look at the REALITY check. What you share and how you feel about it may not be the same, and in fact, it could be the complete opposite. Check this out::
- Not everyone is going to be HAPPY for you
- Most of the - "NICE" comments you get are just fake
- You will only ATTRACT the evil eye on you and your family
- You are simply ATTRACTING JEALOUS people in your life
- You don't know who is saving your pictures and checking your updates
- Don’t overshare your daily routine
- Don’t post when you're home alone
- Don’t share personal struggles publicly
- Don’t make everything about material success
- Don’t reveal too much about your relationships
And there are countless other things that can be added and I could just go on and on. And the main point here is that we need to be cautious while sharing information in public, as it could lead to privacy breaches, misunderstandings, or even unwanted consequences and instead of attracting happiness we may land up doing the opposite and have more people who would be JEALOUS of ours achievements and happiness. What should be done then? Answer is pretty simple - Keep Your Personal LIFE Private & stay out of the trouble its that simple. Do you agree with me here or not?
