It doesn't really help decentralisation. According to them rewards are too big for the size of the community. I fear that the communtiy would be bigger if the distributed rewards were also bigger...

that sucks. you'd think they would want more decentralization.
But, Jongo, you know that's less money in their pocket. Why would they want the community to succeed. Really you never hear from most of the top witnesses or whales anyway. They just whale away and leave us with the crumbs to feel like we are earning something. My rewards lately have been crap, but I am still posting...

This is why you vote witnesses that you feel represent you. Most of the top 20 don't care about the community, only their pockets. They are old guard that needs to be rotated and voted out in my opinion. Whales, you can't do much about. They have the money to make those votes.
Yes learning slowly, I realize why some witness wants rewards only for themselves and want to remove them for social site.
It's all good. We all had to start somewhere!
