Trump participated in one of the largest crypto events of the year and has told the event that on the first day he will fire the CEO of Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States, Gary Gensler he is re-elected as the president of the country.
The presidential election candidate Donald Trump was the keynote speaker at the Bitcoin event, a gathering of heavyweights in the industry.
During the event, the Republican nominee for president courted voters and encouraged donations from the tech community.
For Republicans, crypto has emerged as a political battleground with Trump declaring the democratic party and Vice President Kamala Harris were against crypto.
When Trump announced, "on day one I will fire Gary Gensler," the SEC head selected by current President Joe Biden, the audience became extremely excited. As soon as this statement was made, the crowd began to shout "Trump" and celebrate wildly.
Mr. Gensler led a crackdown on the cryptocurrency market and has warned that it is full of "hucksters."
Charges agains Sam Bankman Fried were brought by the SEC, who was jailed to 25 years for stealing billions of dollars from the customers of the crypto exchange FTX.
Over the course of his 45-minute speech, Trump discussed some of his plans for the industry if he were to win the election in November. He declared that the US would become the global center of cryptocurrency. His backing for the sector is in stark contrast to his remarks made to Fox Business in 2021, when he said he thought Bitcoin was a "scam" that would devalue the US dollar.
In recent months, there has been increasing support among some tech leaders for presidential campaign of Donald Trump. Elon Musk has also endorsed Donald Trump.
Using his remarks, Trump attempted to politicize cryptocurrency regulation by accusing the Biden administration of being "anti-crypto."

He doesn't do half of the things that he says unfortunately. At least based on his record. I really hope he does though if he becomes president. Mass crypto adoption by the government could help America a lot. Mass adoptions by the citizens could help even more.
To see a really good appeal to Bitcoiners watch Robert Kennedy's speech at the same conference. Shame he has little chance and other ideas that are not so good (IMHO).

I love how Trump is adding crypto policies to his campaign but who knows what will happen soon?
If we wins, we never can tell if he will fulfill his promises in the crypto world or not
