Cryptocurrency crashed!! Most of the tokens in my watchlist are down 25% or more in the last week, signifying a market-wide crash that could last for a long time or even get worse.
Should we panic? Is there any new thing about crypto that means it isn't as viable before, or are people losing faith in the technology?
In this video I talk about what happens during crypto crashes and the potential mistake of walking away during a crash. For me personally taking a break from crypto during "crypto winter" was probably one of the dumbest things I've ever done. At the same time, I can sympathize with people who might be thinking about doing it.
There's also the question of what to do during crypto winter... well, this might not be crypto winter at all. Things can definitely bounce back, it's only been a few days.
Regardless of whether this is a "winter" or just a cooling off, the answer is always to keep building. Think of a crypto dip as as reality check that tests what you are doing. If any of your current projects are about to fall apart as soon as the market dips, it might be a sign of unsustainable behavior.
