How about starting with 10 comments per day and build from there? Setting a goal of 500 in a week is just for machines like you TM.. :)

That is true. People need to start somewhere. And since few seem to accomplish that, it is probably a better level.
Of course, the flipside, aim for 500 and if one misses and hits 200, so be it.
