This pandemic hit every business and many fields crushed with out income. Having said that, What about the employees who fired ? What about the daily wagers and bartenders?
It gave me night mares thinking about their families and lives.
So It made think about my savings and investments, although I have very little..still every dollar counts when we are in need of money. Currently I have some savings in bank, crypto & gold.
You never know when something happens and our salary may not able to fulfill them. We may need to knee down before banks for loans which ruin our financial freedom.
So I decided to refer our options and also sharing how multiple source helped me back.
In 2018 I left my job and decided to prepare for an exam conduct by Indian government. When I left job My savings are only about 300$+ which is enough to sustain like 6 -8 months in Indian hostel. But I paid about 200$ to exam training institute and left with only 100$ and got worried. Then I discovered about steem and it got me hooked.
Then I started videos on @dtube and getting a small amount which helped to spend on some quality breakfast and traveling expenses every day. I also bought their tokens which is kind of investment and looking what they are gonna do with it. I started my journey on steem in 2019 and at end of 2019 I made around 300$ which may seem little amount but I made it like spending about only less than hour on steem like 2-3 days in a week.
Then I started learning about cryptocurrency and started making little investment in bitcoin whenever I feel I got some extra money. Still I am investing in it as we know in 2024 bitcoin halving gonna happen and the price may increase more.
If we got multiple sources of Income, our confidence will increase and we can take little risks which may not possible with our day Job income. Once we start getting taste of multiple income,it opens up many ways to connect with different communities and travel more places.
Also when you turns up the multiple sources of income to multiple right investments for some years..then it definitely you can start your entrepreneurship journey . Also you can transfer our investments to your children like assets when you no longer have time to manage.
Imagine some one bought bitcoin in 2009 for fun and gifted their children.

the thing about hive is that you have to try to avoid having to take it out... powering up in the long run is smarter
So if you do that it is not a 2nd source of income
Powering up and curating stuff 😃 is the way we can make some income but it too less when compared to content creation. Still investing in hive, increasing our reach & connections is always better than selling hive✌
