They fear what they don't know. The larger audience is scared of change and that is why we have yet to get a lot of users into web3. That is why we need to be patient when explaining this technology so that they can understand this space values their time and is here for their interest.

Nothing better than knowledge for trust, as you say people are afraid of the unknown because for them it is not trustworthy. It is good to have knowledge to be able to trust and not blindly.
Definitely , I agree with you, but that's where we also need to come in and let them know that their is lot of benefits attached to being on Web3 today, it's not all about crypto, as I think that's one fear lot of people have today, web3 goes beyond cryptocurrency and people need to understand that too.
