It has been an incredible end to last week for some American citizens and the cryptocurrency industry because we are seeing changes in the crypto market since Donald Trump won the United States of America presidential election. The election was a heated one even starting from the campaign to the final day the American people cast their vote on who they wanted to lead them in the next four years.
Donald Trump made it known in one of his campaigns on his thoughts on cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. The president of the United States of America expressed his support for the cryptocurrency industry and also talked about Bitcoin. The president also gave his thoughts on what he wants to achieve with the cryptocurrency industry and how he wants to make America the center of cryptocurrency. Later that same week, Donald Trump was spotted buying a burger and paying with Bitcoin, which just proves how the president invested in cryptocurrency.
As soon as Donald Trump was announced as the new president of the United States of America, we all saw how the crypto market changed immediately as both meme coins and layer 1 tokens skyrocketed in the market. Bitcoin just hit 80k USD, which is its new all-time high in the market, and could likely hit 85k as we approach the new week. This new achievement by Bitcoin has got many crypto influencers talking about X and how they have advised their community in the past to buy and hold some tokens a couple of months ago.
The truth about being in the crypto space is that no one can predict the market at a 100 percent level, but what we can all do is check the potential of a token and the total supply in circulation before deciding to buy and hold before the token becomes bullish. I am quite sure many crypto enthusiasts would have made a couple of dollars during this weekend with the pump in crypto prices. Even I am not off that list as well because a token I farmed a long time ago and kept is about to hit 4 dollars since it launched at just barely 80 cents.
The pump did hit all sectors in the crypto spaces including some meme coins which I doubted would ever go up and that is just the interesting thing about the crypto space because even when you think you know it all there's always something that you list expected will surprise you and that is why this space is the best place to be because each day is a day to learn new stuff and improve your knowledge on cryptocurrency.
Donald Trump's influence on the cryptocurrency industry is going to be wild, and who knows, Bitcoin could hit 100k before the year ends; that would just be a huge turning point for many crypto enthusiasts, and some could get that huge breakthrough financially.
