Unbeknownst to many, there is an ongoing fun sprint on Crew3current race which qualifies only those with above 1k Leo Power has a prize pool of 10k LEO and 100k Leo Power Delegation. And the race runs until the 1st of March., thanks to the initiative of Eric (@anomadsoul) through @leogrowth for bringing it to us. The
That being said, there's another sprint coming on the 15th of March and it's open to everyone here on Hive, even to those with no LEO staked. So if you are not yet on Crew3, I'm inviting you to join us for the incoming fun. All you have to do is complete the first step and you will be ready when the next Quest begins. The prize pool for this race will be 10k USD.
Here's a quick guide on how to connect to Crew3
Go to this link and you will be directed to this page. The community is private so you need an invite link to be able to join.
Click on the "Connect" button to choose which way you prefer to sign up. It's either via Discord, through your Metamask or via Wallet Connect. I recommend using Discord.
After you've connected, you will then be in the LeoFinance Crew3 page. Your profile pops right in front where you can either edit and add your own avatar/photo or just keep it as is.
To complete the first quest in preparation for the next sprint, click on the "10,000 USD in prizes!" It asks you to create a Thread.
For those who are not yet aware, LeoThreads is a microblogging feature on LeoFinance frontend which allows us to post short form contents (not limited to crypto or finance stuff), share memes, say good morning or basically anything we can think of (like we do on Twitter) and it won't clog our Hive post/blog page and feeds. So there is no worrying of being flagged for spamming.
How to Login to LeoThreads & Make Your First Thread
On PC:
Go to https://alpha.leofinance.io/threads and login using your Hive Keychain.
After logging in, you will now be on the Threads page. To start threading, just type on the field (pay attention to the character count, Threads only allow 240) and then click on "Thread" to post it.
There is no overthinking when posting on Threads. A simple hello or good morning or whatever you wanna say. You can even share your Hive post link or other people's Hive post and you may earn GOSH tokens in the process. You can also create threadstorms, share your thoughts on certain topics, post a photo of your dog and include #dogs tag, or anything at all.
Anyway, after posting your thread, copy the link and paste it on the Submission URL on the Crew3 page and you're done! Your entry will be reviewed and will be credited to your Crew3 XP.
Logon to Threads on Mobile Phone:
Open your Hive Keychain mobile app and go to Browser, type in the URL (https://alpha.leofinance.io) then click on the login button at the lowest left corner. Make sure to type your Hive username all in small letters.
And once you're in, you can now start creating your threads. Remember, there's a character limit of 240. Type in the field and click on "Thread" and you're done. You can now copy your thread URL and paste it to your Crew3 quest page. You want to be ready when the next race starts.
That's it and do enjoy threading.
There are various Hive communities (Hive Garden, Ladies of Hive, SilverBloggers, Blockchain Poets, Silver Gold Stackers, Aliento, Music, Family&Friends, OnChain Art etc) that are already on LeoThreads and they are curating threads related to their tags so don't miss out, join the fun and get a share of the micro-earnings in the form of LEO, HIVE and HBD and some other Layer 2 tokens too.
