According to Vingroup, its subsidiary VinFast, a Vietnamese electric vehicle maker will open an EV business network in the Philippines.

There are so many EV companies out there. Already seeing mass consolidation.

5 Chinese EV makers closed their doors recently, not including Evergrande which is in bankruptcy.

Yes. The price of EVs might be one of the reasons why some people don't go for it and with many companies producing them, it is not surprising that some are closing down already. And I remember onealfa saying EV cars (design) are ugly, lol!

Well the price is getting towards parity with ICE.

China has 40% of their car sales in Dec were EV.

That's good then, at least it's not the price. Perhaps some other factors (i.e. lack of charging stations maybe)?

...and they are very ugly especialy inside...

That's a great news for your country.

Not sure if it is great news. I wonder how many people would want EVs here.
