RE: My Crypto.com Indigo debit card finally arrived after waiting several months

in LeoFinance3 years ago

They renamed to Cronos a while ago, their second rebranding in their lifetime. I have the same tier but in jade green color, but I unstaked my CRO/MCO because they have lost my trust. I need my card company to give me a sense of stability and predictability. I love the card and they have the best benefits by far, but it is not worth it when they don’t have my trust. They spend too much spamming ads, they need to show they have more than just marketing, showing that they can make a profit and will not go bankrupt from all that spending would be a good start.

Sort:

CRO was just CRO for a while though, no? I guess they decided CRO needed to mean something and they went with Cronos.

I almost went with the Jade Green, but seeing that Royal Indigo shines in the reflection of light makes me happy I went with this one. I was thinking of unstaking my CRO once the 180 days are up, is there any downside to doing that? Do you lose perks of any sort?

I know what you mean with the lack of trust and stability though. Their customer service doesn't offer much support other than automated and it just makes you wonder how they actually operate. They sure seem to be making some big deals with popular faces, but they also are in control of the CRO supply.

As for the card, it is great. I just dread having to go through all of my top-ups for taxes next year. How did that go for you? Or is there a way around it? I don't see how since they KYC'd the fuck out of us.

Abou taxes Inhave no Idea, every year I pay an accountant to do my taxes for me I just send all my forms and data and don't even think about it.

For the perks yes, you lose them if you unstake, you still get 1% Cashback though but that is all

So they do send the data over. I figured they did but wasn't sure since this will be my first year really using my card a lot. I guess I will see how things are looking in 77 days when my staking period is over.

Wait, I think you misunderstood me. I do not knonw if they send data and if so how or what or who do they send to. I meant that every year I print all my bank activity and I by myself forward all my history to my accountant to run the numbers and declare my taxes for me. I don't like accounting so I by myself get all the information I can and forward to an account I trust, Crypto does not do that for me as far as I know (if they did I could save accounting money), I manually export it all and forward to a trusty accountant

This is all that I have found so far. I haven't used it yet though.
