How to get customers and grow your new business.

In which ever job we choose to do or find ourselves, we need to grow from our starting points to as high as we can achieve! In this content, I want to talk about how to grow customers in our businesses / hustles,

which ever thing we are comfortable to do in life is our business, so long as it's genuine and capable of providing financial support, financial rewards or profits to our lives!

Welcome to my topic; How to grow customers in your business:

  • WHAT IS BUSINESS:
    Any eligible work some one is doing that generates satisfactions and provides financial rewards and benefit is business. Though some times one may not like the business but likes the financial profits, that alone makes one to stick in the business !

WAYS TO GROW CUSTOMERS IN YOUR BUSINESS:
These are some ways as this list implies;

  1. Word of mouth
  2. Advertisement
  3. Discount/ buy one, take one home.
  4. Leverage with social media
  5. News letter/ seminars
  6. Radio announcement/ jingles.
  7. Television advertisement
  8. Creating out time to follow your new customers up.
  9. Referral system.
  10. Telephone calls/ text messages.
  11. News papers advertisement
  12. Holding seminars
  13. Creating a website
  • Word of mouth:
    This is just letting people know you have a business outfit, goods, products to sell, or services to render by speaking to them to come and patronize you, it's easy if only you are an out going person. Any person can be your target audience. Neighbors, family members, church members, as they buy you get more customers increasing your output, input as well as your customer base.
  • Advertisement:
    You can go to a radio station, buy slots and advertise what you do there to have both new and more customers. This is seriously a good possible means as well.
  • Discount/buy one take one home method:
    As a business person that wants more and new customers, tell them they can buy one item and take another one free. It's an avenue to encourage both old and new buyers to be attached to your goods, services and products.
  • Leverage with social media:
    It's said and known that " the whole world has become a global village.,,,, What you do and posted from here saturates the media world, that is to say, your products, goods and services can go viral, thereby creating your business visibility through Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, and creating a website, allowing more new customers to see and patronize you.
  • Organizing seminars, workshops, sending out news letters:
    These are many different ways you can create awareness about what you do bringing more customers to yourself.
  • Business card/fliers:
    You can print a business card or name card as some call it and give out to people you meet on daily bases or had contacts with before now. It's a kind of reminder to them when they need your goods, products and services to come over and buy from you, you thereby retain them.
  • Television advertisement:
    This is a huge one in wideness and in reaching out, the scope of it's reach is like that of radio advertisement, once it's announced the wider audience get at it immediately, it's wider and faster.
  • Referral system: this is a means by which customers refer your business to one another for a contineous and future purchases. In this sense, jovial approach and good customer care attitude is very important and necessary for the retention of your customers.

  • Telephone calls:
    This is a telephone call follow up to your customers, because you had already had their phone numbers and contacts, so you call them to know how they are faring, reminding them to come over and buy your products. Majorly when they're new arrivals.
  • Radio announcements/ jingles:
    Your products, goods and services will be announced in the radio, jingles can also be helpful, where they sing about what you do, you pay the radio station for their job.
  • News papers advertisement:
    Daily news papers are very well known as a perfect means of letting the audience or the populace to know what ever that's on board or whatever that's happening in the cities and counties of the world. To have more customers, one need to publish your business for the awareness of both old and new customers.
  • Holding seminars:
    Seminars are very necessary to both old and new businesses, it creates great presentation of the business to all and sundry. Draw people's attention to what you do, gather them in a place and give a thorough lecture, talks of what you do and how beneficial it is to the users, many will become your instant customers thereby increasing your customer base.
  • Creating a website:
    Any business that wants to thrive in this technology era must have a working website to communicate with their customers maybe on daily bases or once in awhile. It creates stability and rest in the minds of your customers, it's an avenue through which the business owners and their customers interact, creating a working website is very important and needed as a business owner, in trying to increase the customer base of any business.

These and more are ways to be in minds and desires of your customers continually.

Yes, I agree that having good customer care attitude and maintaining a strong online presence through a website are essential for business success in this digital age.

I agree with all the points you mentioned especially that of advertisement and discount. But, word of mouth can also go a long way but limited to social people. Thanks.
