There are so many differences.
The alpha mode didn't have all the features we now see in the new UI like Edit, Re-thread, Hovering on a user's profile, 5% vote
I guess you didn't use it when it was in alpha mode
Before now it was in alpha mode but 1st of April it was adopted into leofinance.io and that's why the Zealy quest is ongoing

The leofinance.io is the new UI. That is threads and the long form content
It's gotten way better over time
i really like the new UI, its so simple to use and they also added edit, and delete downvote buttons and the Article tab to browse long-form content!
