Yes. Just heard from a friend that this is "something like Reddit" but explicitly for Crypto and I registered to try it out but still a bit overwhelmed with the Blockchain / Crypto world.

Yes @immali, no question the "cryptosphere" is a bit bewildering / overwhelming at times. But, like anything else with which we have become familiar, if we stay at it, the "lights go on" ... 🙂

"... but explicitly for Crypto ..."

Yes and no. You and I are interacting as part of the LeoFinance community built on top of the Hive blockchain, via their LeoFinance UI. And LeoFinance has a specific focus on crypto and investing in it.

But there are many, many communities with specialized areas of interest covering just about anything that might be of value / interest to you or anyone.

All this is made possible by our Hive blockchain. I think once you begin to experience the broader scope of what all the Hive blockchain makes possible, it will make Reddit (assuming you are familiar with that) seem very limited by comparison.

Where to start?

My recommendation is that you open PeakD's UI here, which has your Hive account details to explore. The hyperlink I provided for you here will open to it. PeakD is IMHO, far and away the best generalized UI for engaging with others and experiencing all the Hive blockchain has to offer.

Once you open it, look around and check it all out. At some point, then click on "Communities," as illustrated below:

That will begin to give you some idea of what I have written above.

Get back to me, as you have time and interest with any questions and, again, I will do what I can to help you along on your own "journey" into all the fascinating aspects of what blockchain technology makes possible.

P.S. If you don't mind my asking @immali, I would be curious to know how you learned about LeoFinance and this post.
