When it comes to finances, I can't help but be a disaster when it comes to making decisions. No matter how hard I try I always end up getting it wrong. It's gotten to the point where I even dread the idea of buying into SPOT to trade safely and without much risk. But managing a % at a loss, it's just not for me.
When I started in crypto and bought my first $100 in BTC, I put it straight into a Spanish company called MindCapital. The function was that they did arbitrage for different exchanges and generated a small profit with your investment. For many months I defended this company as the best and everything was rosy for a long time. I even created a referral network under me, with friends and family. Everything fell apart from one moment to the next and I was never able to get my investment. A super well planned pyramid scam from head to toe. Here I think I lost more than $300 USD in total, I do not remember the exact figure, but it was approximately that amount.
Later I generated a lot of money in Pegaxy, a P2E game that became very famous along with Axie Infinity. But when things reached their peak of explosion and popularity, I didn't sell my tokens, I preferred to keep them and the price dropped so much that I almost sold when it was -40% of its ATH. The more than $400 USD I had managed to make was still a super profit for about 3 months. What happened next was catastrophic. I had planned to take the usd directly to my bank account with the P2P in my country, but for one day that I was late, a hacker went ahead and stole the usd from my wallet. If I explain to you how traumatized I was after that you would be surprised. To this day I still haven't been able to fully recover.
Accumulated loss: $700 USD
I once won a contest at BitYard, a cryptocurrency exchange I was part of back in the day. I won $125 USD and I didn't take it to my bank account directly, I put it in Copy Trading. Guess what happened? That capital didn't even last 24 hours. So much bad luck that the Trader goes bankrupt that same day. Lesson learned: Do not do Copy Trading.
Accumulated loss: $825 USD
Between all my forays into trading by myself, I think I have lost a total of $250 usd. What little I have earned, because believe it or not I do earn on occasion, is nowhere near that amount, so it's all lost. My motto in trading is the opposite of what others use. My motto is: Cut the profits and let the losses run. That is, if a trade is at +5%, close the trade and we are already in profit. But if a trade is -50% negative, let it go because it will come back. Obviously this theory is super wrong and should be the opposite, but it is what I always end up doing.
Accumulated loss: $1 075 USD
How much money did I miss out on by not doing HOLD?
This one will be quick.
I sold 1 ETH when the price was $1 470 USD. Current price $1 890 USD. I have stopped earning $415 USD.
I sold my 11 BCH when the price was $101 USD. Current price $280. I stopped earning $1 970 USD.
I have stopped earning: $2 385 USD.
Total: Accumulated loss + Stopped earning = $3 460 USD.
But I am happy, because life is not all about winning. Whenever money comes in, on one side, somehow it has to go out the other. It's a never-ending cycle. You learn from your mistakes and continue little by little trying not to let these things happen again to increase productivity and profits in the future.
And you, how have you been doing?

Lesión aprendida: No hacer Copy Trading.
Precio actual $1 890 USD. He dejado de ganar $415 USD.
Precio actual $280. He dejado de ganar $1 970 USD.
He dejado de ganar: $2 385 USD.

Sigo intentándolo, poco a poco.
Saludos 🤗
I accumulate losses in trading and gambling by almost 450 dollars. That amount was bigger but I recover some money in different operations.
You can't imagine the number of times I've said I won't trade anymore, but I always end up doing it again. Luckily, I already learned to do it with only $10 for example, so if I lose them, it's not the same as having lost $100 or $200 as I used to put that amount in a single operation.
I guess we've all had it happen to us at some point, but you have to move on. Cryptocurrencies are complex, I would study all my life and we would not be able to understand them... Let's hope for all the good things from Hive.
Hive is amazing. I'm glad that I finally manage to in. Thanks my fren
