This is a great one but the truth still remains that many finds it difficult or reluctant to read email especially at work but yet, finds it as easy anything to read messages using others channels of communication

I guess a lot of it depends on if there is a native app for your mail client. Gmail makes it pretty easy to check just like you would a text. If I had to login to a site. That would probably be a deal breaker for me.
