Stonks!! Here I come.

“Nukesh!!! Haha, you are mine.” inuke screams.
A plastic Pokeball hits my head.
“WHAT THE HELL!!! CAN'T YOU SEE I AM WORKING?” I lost my cool.
“Come on, be a little sport and get away from the damn laptop. Don't you get tired of staring at the screen all day? I mean, dark circles are not ok unless you play a character in Tim Buton’s movie.” inuke commented on my ghostly looks.

“I need rest, but this is also important.” I pointed at the screen.
“What is that?”
“I am analysing Stocks, which one to buy and which…”
Before I could finish my sentence, inuke pulled me away from the laptop in protest.
“What do you know about stocks?” inuke asked and was on alert.
“Well, You know you buy low and sell high. And make money off it.” I replied.
“Oh heey!!!! We have a Warren Buffett in the house. Now we gonna be rich.” inuke mocked.

“If this is you helping, I don't want it,” I replied.
“Ok!! Sorry. Can you please tell me what your plan is.” inuke asked.
“OK, so I have two plans. First is to identify few underperforming stocks, and buy them when they are cheap and wait for them to reach new heights.” I replied.
I was waiting for some reaction from inuke, he just stood there blankly and looked at me. Angry looks.
“And second is to look for really cheap stocks and buy tons off it and.”
“Ok, that's enough.” inuke interrupted me again
“Hey, what's wrong with the plan?” I asked.
“Ahemm, How shall I put it? They are not good plans. You might as well move to Kerala and buy a lottery ticket.? Inuke asked.

“Ok, genius what's your plan?” I asked.
“Well, I have something that will guarantee returns.” inuke said.
“Tell me naa. I will invest something there.”
“Invest in your studies, and learning. Dude your plans are horrible. They rarely work. And knowing your luck you will lose whatever little you have.” inuke said.
“But, the basics are clear for me,” I replied.
“If you consider Buy Low and Sell High as basic of stock and is enough, you are 100% wrong. There are so many approaches to earning from the Stock Market. You are not even sure if you are an investor or a trader. You don't know your risk appetite. You lack the Discipline and the patience to sit and understand the company's performance. And the worst thing about you is that you are very emotional. You can swayed by greed or fear. Tell me, What were you searching in the google? Better not be the top performing stocks Feb.” inuke finishes the dramatic lecture.
“What should I do then?” I asked.
“You need a Plan. Let's go old school on this one. Write your financial goals and set a deadline for them. Decide the approach for them. Stick with the plan and see through. Start with small, Test the water and tomorrow go big. ” inuke answered.
“Hmmph..” I made the sound. I wanted to resist as inuke sounded more like a guy from MLMs.
“Don't hmmph. Get to work.” inuke ordered.
“Yeah !! Yeah..!!” I replied. I opened an Excel sheet and named it ‘Goals and Target.xls’
I was about to set the first goal, I felt something hitting me on the back of my head.
"Nukesh, I choose you.!!!" inuke shouted.
