You have truly come a long way with finance, no wonder you choose to stick to it no matter what.

And every crash had given you newer perspective in the heart of finance and you can relive those moments better if given the chance.

My apologies over a few of your losses and congratulations on some of the winnings you might have had..... Which you seem not to have mentioned here except the lessons and experience gained during your working days(this made you understand your economics better)

Now, I have a question....

managing funds for wealthy individual clients

How does anyone let another person manage their funds? Do these people leave signatures behind that gives the financial personnel access to do whatever he seem fit with the money?

Yes, clients give the bank/financial institution/investment manager the mandate to manage their assets. Pretty standard stuff really. These mandates can include conditions like which assets not to buy, as well as other dos and don'ts. That sort of thing. And you then manage those assets in line with that mandate.
