Hi everyone, I'm over here with a new assignment from @aliento and @starstrings01's #new-bies Initiative. This time I had to investigate ways to exchange Cryptos to my country's local currency.
At the moment I am in Venezuela for a few months so I will tell you the easiest way I found to exchange Hive to Bolivars.
The first thing I did was to choose a Casa de Cambio, in this case I chose Orinoco.io, which handles cryptos and I made sure that it handles HIVE, in that page I registered my personal data, my Hive user and also the data of a bank account in Venezuela, in order to obtain a MEMO, which is basically an alphanumeric code that links my Hive wallet to my Orinoco account to be able to make transactions.
Once I have completed all these steps on the Orinoco.io website, I am ready to sell my Hive.
As a previous step, and to verify the HIVE / BS exchange rate, I log into the Orinoco.io web page and enter the amount I want to exchange, verify the amount I will get in Bs, select the bank account where I expect to receive it (I can associate several accounts), copy the corresponding MEMO and click finish, in this way the exchange rate is frozen for 30 minutes, time I have to make the transfer in my Wallet.
Then I enter my Wallet in Hive and transfer the required amount of Hive to the user "Orinoco" (this is the user that corresponds to the chosen exchange house), there I must also enter the MEMO I got in the previous step, then I approve the order and ready, in just a few minutes I will have the BS in my account.
I hope you understand the procedure, although I personally had to go over it several times to understand it.

En este momento estoy unos meses en Venezuela por lo que les contare la manera mas sencilla que encontré de cambiar Hive a Bolívares.
Lo primero que hice fue elegir una Casa de Cambio, en este caso elegí Orinoco.io, que maneja criptos y me aseguré que maneja HIVE, en dicha pagina realice el registro de mis datos personales, mi usuario de Hive y también de los datos de una cuenta bancaria de Venezuela, para poder obtener un MEMO, que basicamente es un codigo alfanumerico que vincula mi billetera de Hive a mi cuenta de Orinoco para poder realizar las transacciones.
Una vez que completé todos esos pasos en la pagina de Orinoco.io, ya puedo realizar la venta de mis Hive.
Como paso previo, y para verificar la tasa de cambio HIVE / BS, inicio sesión en la página web de Orinoco.io y coloco el monto que deseo cambiar, verifico el monto que obtendre en Bs, selecciono la cuenta bancaria en la que espero recibirlo (Puedo asociar varias cuentas), copio el MEMO correspondiente y le doy click a finalizar, de esta manera la tasa de cambio se congela durante 30 minutos, tiempo que dispongo para realizar la transferencia en mi Wallet
Luego ingreso a mi Wallet en Hive y transfiero la cantidad requerida de Hive al usuario "Orinoco" (este el usuario que corresponde a la casa de cambio elegida), allí también debo ingresar el MEMO que obtuve en el paso anterior, luego apruebo la orden y listo, en solo unos minutos tendré los BS en mi cuenta.
Espero que se entienda el procedimiento, aunque personalmente yo tuve que repasar varias veces para entenderlo.
