Hey folks, if you haven’t checked your Coinbase account lately, you should see a few new learn-and-earn offers pop-up that may be worth your time completing.
Coinbase
Although they have pretty hefty fees, Coinbase is my go-to place to on-ramp onto fiat from crypto. If for some reason you don’t have an account yet, the best signup offer I’ve seen active is over on Swagbucks, basically a free points/cashback site where you can currently earn 3500 SB (equivalent to $35 which can be cashed out via paypal) as long as you deposit $50 and make a first trade:
If that’s too complicated, you could cut down your rewards by simply signing up with the following link to get a free $20 dollars worth of $BTC: https://coinbase.com/join/LWZYDY3?src=android-share
Learn and Earn
Coinbase has come out with many different free crypto offers over the years, many duds that you’ve probably never will hear of again, but also more popular ones including $RNDR, $MATIC (POL), and even $USDC.
If you haven’t done a learn and earn offer in awhile, you might find the first time a bit tedious, as many of the offers now require you to go through the Coinbase app, installing new wallets, and going through different DeFi apps all through your phone. However, as long as you follow the directions correctly (and if you’re willing to refresh/restart the app a few times), each set of tasks should only take a few minutes once you start getting the hang of it.
Anywho, Coinbase currently has 3 different offers, all totaling $78 dollars:
Aleo ($33)
There’s a total of 10 tasks that you can complete that’s worth a total of $33 dollars worth of $ALEO. Personally it took me about 5–7 minutes to complete all of them. Half of them are Q&A’s, the other ones involve opening up an Aleo wallet and interacting with a couple of different protocols.
Core ($18…kinda)
This set of tasks unfortunately I never got to complete. After doing a few Q&As, I was unable to download the Element wallet, for none of my devices apparently are compatible for it:
I may have tried to do some more troubleshooting, but taking a quick look at the app reviews, I simply gave up after seeing there’s similar problems for a lot of people, giving the overall app rating an abysmal 2.2 out of 5 overall. (Honestly, whoever is in charge of rolling out Element probably needs to get let go. You’ve hit a gold mine opportunity of potentially onboarding millions of people through a Coinbase quest, only for them to find out your wallet doesn’t work).
Dimo ($27)
Dimo is a DePIN project that allows you to monetize your driving data. There’s only 4 tasks for this one, the bulk of it ($25 dollars worth of $DIMO) coming to you if you’re willing to sync up your car to start earning rewards. I myself haven’t synced up my car yet, but perhaps I will soon…
Bonus: Kraken ($50)
The last offer I’m throwing in here obviously isn’t from Coinbase, but seeing as how Kraken rarely puts any offers out there, I figured that I should include this one as well.
Only open to the first 20k people (US residents) only who deposit and make their first $10 dollar trade, are eligible for $50 worth of BTC.
Personally I don’t use Kraken a whole lot, mainly because I only use centralized exchanges for on/off-ramping, and Kraken can’t compete against Coinbase’s fees for converting crypto (namely $USDC) to fiat, which are $0.
That being said, free money is free money, so if you’ve never used Kraken until now, this might be worth your time.

Conclusion
Free is free, and I love the fact that Coinbase puts out these offers, and genuinely in some cases, it gets me exposed and causes me to learn about different projects out there that I might otherwise wouldn’t.
Once again, if you don’t have a Coinbase account for whatever reason, I’d sign one up either through Swagbucks to earn up to $35, or you can simply signup through this referral link to earn $20: https://coinbase.com/join/LWZYDY3?src=android-share

Thanks for this info about Coinbase. I will go to their site in the next few days and check it out. I believe that anyone who has cryptocurrencies should have a point of reference where they can convert them into Fiat currencies.
I recently had done the Coinbase Learn stuff for Core as well.
And if you don't want to be opening up all the accounts, you can still do the questions and earn a few bucks that way. That's usually what I do, because I don't want to give my info to all these random wallets.
But will have to look for some of these, thanks for the tip!
