I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2023 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. I am still ahead or on track for all my goals. My HBD goal is pretty much set and I have a lot more leeway in LEO due to my April LPUD. I am slowly building back my HBD savings after my Rebellion purchase.
Progress
Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week was about the same as the previous week.
HP
I got about more than last week with 62 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. My author rewards are up and curation is about the same as last week. My goal for curation is to ensure that my voting power is never full. I was able to use up most of my voting power without any issues and I have changed some of my voting habits. The HP growth is quite consistent and I don't see any reason why I can't reach my yearly goal if I stay consistent.
HBD
I gained 22 HBD last week and I deposited that into my Savings this week. Part of that HBD was part of a contest that I guessed correctly. It hurts to see my HBD savings drop down so much after the withdrawal, but there isn't much that I can really do about that. There is only a month and a half left so I will need to change some Hive into HBD to make up for it. It's 249 HBD left and I should get 62 or 63 of that from my interest. So that would still require me to earn 180 or so HBD during this time period.
LEO Power
I earned 28 LEO last week and this was less than last week. I have enough LEO for LPUD and I haven't figured out what I plan to do for the next year. From what I see, my earnings are down and I haven't gone back to threads. Life has been keeping me busy so I haven't had as much time to do things. LPUD is coming up soon so I will be powering up some LEO then.
Conclusion
It's been a week since my last update and I like my progress so far. My HP goal has been extended to 9.3k earlier this month. With my current progress, I shouldn't have any issues with that goal. As for my HBD, I have added a bit back to it but I am still quite a bit behind. I plan on waiting a bit to see if I should convert some Hive back into HBD to put that back into my savings.

Am just starting out back on hive and the goal is to be consistent and watch how the progress goes with tracking my earnings.
I think it's a good way to make sure that you are on track. If anything does happen, you can at least adapt and see how well you are doing towards your goals.

you are hitting 10000 HP milestone soon, congrat. are you planning to swap more HBD to Hive as the market is getting rid of the bearish market now?
I would be changing Hive into HBD to reach my HBD goal. I withdraw a bit too much HBD for the Rebellion pre-sale. I'll wait to see how things go and see if I can find an imbalance on the swap.hive side.
Wonderful seeing you have remained consistent with sharing your progress. I see you mentioned switching to new voting patterns any advice on how voting can benefit a person for better rewards?
There are two things you have to pay attention to: 1) vote on content within the first 24 hours it is posted and 2) Make sure what you vote on is above the dust threshold ($0.02).
