My Hive Goals for 2025

I decided to go with a similar goal structure to last year which can be found here. It will be a similar structure for HP, HBD, and LEO Power for the year. My goals for this is to one day become financially free and to get there, I have to grow my own holdings slowly over time.

My goals

In order to make things simple, I decided on two core goals this time with a minor third goal. The two main goals are HP and HBD. LEO Power is more of a goal that I want to increase but not really have too much pressure on. Having a focus on just these few things will make things a lot easier and I feel that it would be enough to make sure that my account is growing properly. These three goals can be gotten by being active here on the blockchain by posting, curating, and commenting. As I mainly focus on my LeoFinance feed, I think it works out quite well.

HP

My goal here is 18k HP and this is not as much as last year, but I think almost 4k increase in HP is decent enough. It doesn't seem like an impossible goal for me to reach either. HP increases how much my vote weight and it also increases the RCs that I can have. When Hive takes off and resource credits (RC) are scarce, I can always delegate out my RCs for a return but there isn't a demand yet for that (same as last year). For now, those RCs are being used to claim account creation tokens but that generally takes a while. I should be able to claim them more frequently as I increase my HP staked. In order to get this, I need about 327 HP per month and I think this should be possible.

HBD

My goal here is 3.9k HBD because there is a 15% APR in the HBD savings. I saved a lot of HBD last year and I want to continue this trend this year. I was thinking about doing 4k, but I decided to lower that amount by 100 HBD because I expect the new Splinterlands deck to come out.

LEO Power

My goal here is 13.4k LEO Power. LeoFinance is the place that I visit the most so I definitely want to increase my stake there and I believe that 200 LEO per month should be possible. It's a little less compared to last year but I want to build some more leeway to build up my HP, HBD savings or Splinteerlands deck. It shouldn't be impossible but my LEO earnings have definitely been down so I hope to revisit threads starting this year. Once things calm down, it should help add to my LEO earnings.

Progress last week

Overall, last week wasn't bad as the amounts are adding up over time. I did power up 10 Hive for HPUD but as this goals post is late, I didn't include that amount.

Conclusion

These are my goals for 2025 and I think that these are some reasonable goals to reach. There may be some side goals but I haven't thought of them clearly yet but I might only try to do that when I have made sufficient progress on these three main goals.
