Although it is nice to have a digital yuan in China, they do not have the same opinion to other cryptos. Also if they suddenly decided that this person is no longer able to transact, your financial career would be considered dead. At least with HIVE and other blockchains, you can transact directly and no single entity can decide that you have no control. The price is RC and that means people need to have enough HIVE to satisfy their daily usage.

That is why a centralized system would not work with decentralized cryptocurrencies. The Yuan, even though it is a digital currency, still has its central bank to control. Only the mask has changed but the control system is the same.
