I am not a fan of subscription models because there are just way too many subscriptions out there right now. I frown on all the battle pass stuff in games now.

It's definitely overwhelming paying subscription fees to many different platforms.
The amount of content streaming services I pay for (mostly for sport) is ridiculous.
